JUPITER ASCENDING Adds Sean Bean!
Andy and Lana Wachowski‘s upcoming sci-fi thriller Jupiter Ascending is getting bigger! We’ve just learned that Sean Bean (aka Boromir) has joined the cast which already includes Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis and Eddie Redmayne. Quite interesting cast, indeed. Unfortunately, at this moment not much is known about Bean’s role except that he comes on board to play character named Stinger! Check out the rest of this report for more details!
So, when it comes to that Stinger-part of the story, the only thing we know is that he’s a charming rogue with a mercenary streak, much in the manner of Han Solo. Which definitely sounds interesting, especially ’cause we already know that the movie is actually a futuristic tale set in a time where humans are at the bottom of the evolutionary ladder.
Jupiter Ascending will follow Mila Kunis as a woman who has been targeted for assassination by the queen of the universe. Why?
Apparently, Kunis will play a Russian immigrant who is scrubbing toilets for a living (yep, toilets, imagine that!) but she actually possesses the same perfect genetic makeup as the Queen of the Universe and is therefore a threat to her otherwise immortal rule.
Channing Tatum, on the other hand, will play a bounty hunter who is dispatched to dispose of the Cleaning Lady with the Great Pair of Nucloetides, but…yeah, you already guess – they fall in love!
