Here’s the big news for all Fast & Furious fans out there: Kurt Russell is officially on board for the next installment in the well-known action franchise, which (once again) comes from director James Wan. Still nothing about Russell’s involvement in the whole thing, but, according to the latest reports, it is the same role initially offered to Denzel Washington. An important one? That’s for sure!
As we previously reported, Wan is set to direct Fast & Furious 7 from a script written by Chris Morgan, and although the movie already has a release date – July 11th, 2014, not much is known about the plot.
Actually, the only thing we know is that the film will return to Los Angeles after the previous films were set in other locations.
Anyway, let us also remind you that Russell joins previously announced (or confirmed) Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jason Statham, Ronda Rousey, Tony Jaa and Tyrese Gibson, but I guess we’ll soon have more names to add to this list.
