Director Noam Murro and his team continue messaging via their upcoming 300: Rise of an Empire character posters, coinciding with Comic-Con 2013.
The latest one-sheet (of six posters in total) features a first look at Jack O'Connell as Calisto, while screaming: ‘War Is In My Blood!'
Based on Frank Miller's latest graphic novel ‘Xerxe' from a screenplay by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad, the upcoming action adventure also stars Sullivan Stapleton as Themistokles; Eva Green as Artemisia; Lena Headey reprises her starring role from 300 as the Spartan Queen, Gorgo; Hans Matheson stars as Aeskylos; David Wenham returns as Dilios, and Rodrigo Santoro stars again as the Persian King, Xerxes.
It will be interesting to see how fans will react to the follow-up to Zack Snyder's critically acclaimed 300 at Comic-Con in the days ahead.
The first chapter in the 300 saga still holds strong.
300: Rise of an Empire is scheduled for a March 7th, 2014 release.

After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches south towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes' army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land.
