We are thrilled to present to you our most recent endeavor, “Logan the Wolf”, an unauthorized fan production showcasing the beloved Logan/X-Men figure. This brief movie unites the innovative minds responsible for the combat sequences in The Witcher (Season 2 & Blood Origin) and the forthcoming The Crow reboot.
Directed and produced by Godefroy Ryckewaert (The Collector, The Witcher S2, The Witcher Blood Origin, The Crow), “Logan the Wolf” explores a unique narrative: What if Logan were alive during the Viking Age?
Film Synopsis:
A group of Viking mercenaries is on the hunt for a bloodthirsty murderer who claims to be the son of the Wolf God Fenrir.
The film stars Maxime Ecoiffier (The Collector, The Witcher Blood Origin, Gangs of London S3) as Logan, Laurent “Lohan” Buson (The Witcher S2, The Witcher Blood Origin, Merantau, Die Fighting) as Viggo, and Maxence Cazorla (Eon's Echo, Upya) as Magneto. We were also fortunate to work with the renowned Warlegends stunt team, known for their expertise in historical European combat.
“Proud to finally release our Wolverine fanfilm called LOGAN THE WOLF,” Ryckewaert wrote on Instagram. “Available on Youtube in 4K, with French subtitles.” The filmmaker also added the following disclaimer.
I do not own Wolverine, or any of the related Marvel characters. The Wolverine series is owned by @disney @marvel. This story is a work of fanfiction and is for entertainment only. I am not making profit from this story. All rights of Wolverine belong to Disney Marvel.
This concept is quite fascinating, and we eagerly anticipate a follow-up from Ryckewaert. Meanwhile, fans can look forward to Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Logan in the upcoming films Deadpool & Wolverine, with tickets set to go on sale tomorrow.
