Universal Pictures has released the first trailer, poster and photos for Lone Survivor, starring Mark Wahlberg and directed by Peter Berg (The Rundown, Friday Night Lights, The Kingdom, Hancock, Battleship).
The film, based on The New York Times bestseller, tells the story of four Navy SEALs on an ill-fated covert mission to neutralize a high-level Taliban operative who are ambushed by enemy forces in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
Also stars Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster and Eric Bana.
Lone Survivor will be released in platform engagements on Friday, December 27th, 2013, and will go wide on Friday, January 10th, 2014.

Must watch movie for what war is like. War is brutal, no human should desire war but the movie is also about the human survival against odd and still love another against odd. The true meaning of love and war for “NO MORE WAR” I believe it is possible because we do not want to see one another getting hurt or being kill.
I watched the Lone Survival Movie, I wish there is no more war to fight because war is brutal and no training can prepare our young men and women or our warriors what to expect, think about the my heart break for suffering that involves. I wish we promote we do not want to fight no more let us talk and find a common ground to agree what it is fair to you and I.
The movie is #1 for human endeavor to survive and love that supersedes the desire to win. Let us agree half way with I do not like war. I wish there is no more war to fight. I like we don’t want to fight.
