So, Luke Evans is The Crow? Nothing to be surprised about, in case you forgot – Welsh actor was the original choice for the upcoming reboot of James O’Barr‘s dark tale. If anyone asks – I have nothing against this news. I mean, Clash of the Titans star sounds much better than previously rumored Tom Hiddleston, right?
As we previously reported, F. Javier Gutiérrez is on board to helm Relativity Media’s reboot, which he will direct from a script written by Jesse Wigutow.
I’m sure we all remember the original 1994 movie directed by Alex Proyas, which revolved around rock musician Eric Draven who returns from the grave as The Crow on a mission to avenge his wife’s murder, so that his soul can finally rest.
The original film is known for its breakthrough visual style as well as its unique production design and cinematography, and we all remember great, great Brandon Lee, who died from an injury sustained during filming.
Now, with Evans on board – we’re defintely interested in more updates.
