The Million Dollar Man – they already describe this project as a sport comedy, or something like that, but at this moment the whole thing is quite a mystery.
I mean, the only thing we know for sure is that Garry Marshall's son – Scott Marshall is on board to direct it, and that Luke Wilson is in some serious negotiations to star as the lead. That should be enough!
Alex Schrader is responsible for the script that will apparently center on a down-and-out driver (Wilson probably) for a fizzy drinks company, who gets given the chance to become a football kicker and turn his life around. And that's basically all we know about it so far.
But, as Variety adds, this project was announced at Sundance with Todd Slater, John Gatpandan, Alex Schrader and Anderson Hinsch on board to produce and finance it.
