If even briefly Superman’s arch-enemy Lex Luthor does indeed make an appearance in Zack Snyder-directed blockbuster movie, Man of Steel.
To be honest with you, Aint it Cool claims that Mackenzie Gray who played a Luthor clone in the final season of ‘Smallville’ will play ‘an ambitious, ego driven and cold version of Luthor.’
Gray actually confirmed he is going to be appearing in Man of Steel in a recent interview – but, interestingly enough, couldn’t say who he was playing.
Additionally, the screenwriter David S. Goyer recently added fuel to the Luthor fire when he told I Am Rogue,
‘I don’t think anyone has ever confirmed that we haven’t included him.’
Anyway, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as his (adoptive) parents and Amy Adams as Lois Lane are already confirmed along with Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix and Richard Schiff.
Man of Steel hits theaters on June 14th, 2013.
