Just as fast as the speed of light!
Man of Steel opens this weekend, but Warner Bros. is already looking toward the next
Superman adventure with
David Goyer and
Zack Snyder already attached.
Christopher Nolan is also expected to return in some fashion for the follow-up, but has not yet agreed to continue as a producer because he'll be involved with the
Justice League film that plotted for the future with Superman at the center.
Additionally,
Deadline also report that:
Goyer's deal is part of a huge 3-picture deal he signed at Warner Bros for Man of Steel, the sequel, and Justice League with Superman.
This sounds very promising bearing in mind strong indications that Snyder's
Man of Steel is going to be one of the biggest box-office hits.
Director explains how another Superman movie would connect to any further Justice League movie produced by Warner Bros.:
I feel like you need to get Superman a little further down the road before you can do a Justice League movie.
Well, no surprise there as the sequel was first reported on three months ago. Superman himself,
Henry Cavill likely locked in to don the suit again.
Starring Cavill,
Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Russell Crowe, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix and
Richard Schiff, Man of Steel arrives June 14th, 2013.
