Mary McCormack In NBC Comedy Pilot WELCOME TO THE FAMILY
Mary McCormack, remember that lady? Last seen in ABC comedy The Unprofessional, McCormack is now set to star in another comedy pilot titled Welcome to the Family!
She will join previously announced Mike O’Malley, and at this moment we know that the project will chronicle how cultures collide when a white and a Latino family are bonded together by their children. Doesn’t sound bad at all, check out the rest of the story…
Written by Mike Sikowitz (who will also serve as executive producer), the pilot will revolve around a white family and a Latino family who are bonded together by their children who fall in love followed quickly by an unplanned pregnancy.
As for the above mentioned cast, McCormack is set to play character named Katrina Yoder, a food stylist who presents herself as normal and on top of things, but only her husband Dan, played by O’Malley, is allowed to see what truly lies behind the curtain, including a strong need for control.
In other words, McCormack will star as a loving mother who has spent years trying to understand her teenage daughter Molly.
The rest of the cast will also include Ella Rae Peck as their daughter and Aramis Knight.
We’ll keep an eye on this cute family, stay tuned for more!
