Directed by Justin Chadwick, the movie centers on Nelson Mandela's life journey from his childhood in a rural village through to his inauguration as the first democratically elected president of South Africa.
In other words:
The film chronicles his early life, coming of age, education and 27 years in prison before becoming President and working to rebuild the country's once segregated society.
Beside Idris Elba who plays Nelson Mandela, the rest of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom cast includes Naomie Harris, Tony Kgoroge, Riaad Moosa, Zolani Mkiva, Jamie Bartlett, Lindiwe Matshikiza, Deon Lotz, Terry Pheto and the movie is set to hit theaters on November 29th, 2013.
