New MR. PEABODY & SHERMAN Image
Some of you might know and remember the animated TV series Rocky and His Friends and The Bullwinkle Show, both appearing in the late 1950s and early 1960, produced by Jay Ward and collectively known as Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Well, Mr. Peabody & Sherman of today is an animated feature film based on the characters of Mister Peabody and Sherman from those series and has been in development at DreamWorks Animation at least since 2007.
The feature is being directed by Rob Minkoff, who is famous for co-directing The Lion King for Disney.
In January 2011, it was announced that a 3-D computer animated film titled Mr. Peabody & Sherman will be released on March 21st, 2014 (yay, on my birthday!). Robert Downey, Jr. was announced to voice Mr. Peabody, but in March 2012, he got replaced by Ty Burrell. Max Charles, the actor who plays young Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man will voice Sherman.
The story follows a young boy and his dog, who happens to have a genius-level IQ, spring into action when their time-travel machine is stolen and moments in history begin to be changed.
We got our hands on an image from the feature, so take a look at it below and stay tuned for more!
