Disney has unveiled new image for director Tim Burton's 3D stop-motion, movie based on his famous 1984 short film, Frankenweenie.
Frankenweenie tells the story of a boy who brings his beloved dog back to life with the power of science.
After losing his adoring dog Sparky, young Victor uses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life – with just a few fine-tunings. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new ‘leash on life' can be monstrous.
Black and white film, in which centimeter by centimeter, filmmakers move the ‘actors' that create a visual marvel and rendered in 3D is opening on October 5th, 2012.
It has to be emphasized that Tim Burton is director and the creative genius behind the movies of Alice in Wonderland, and Nightmare before Christmas.
Along with a screenplay penned by Burton and John August, the film's voice cast is led by Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan and Atticus Shaffer.
