From Lionsgate comes the final poster and new photos from the upcoming
The Hunger Games.
The film stars
Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in a futuristic thriller where citizens of different districts are forced into gladiatorial combat in which there can be only one survivor.
Directed and written by Oscar nominated filmmaker
Gary Ross (Pleasantville and Seabiscuit), the film is adapted from
Suzanne Collins' popular series of novels, first published in 2008.
The Hunger Games, also stars

Liam Hemsworth,
Elizabeth Banks,

Lenny Kravitz, hits theaters March 23rd, 2012 and the sequel is set to release on November 22nd, 2013.
