New Poster For Hoffman’s QUARTET Has Arrived!

Jeanne Standal December 2, 2012 Add a Comment
QUARTET Every diva deserves an encore… True story! We have a completely new poster for the upcoming Quartet movie, which comes from Dustin Hoffman (yeah, yeah, it's Hoffman's directorial debut and once again – yeah it's a comedy!) and as you'll see – all eyes on lady Maggie Smith this time! Or, should I say – diva? QUARTET Image 01 Never mind, really! The most important thing is that this movie is set to open next month, and that it has an extraordinary cast on board! Beside Smith, Quartet also stars Billy Connolly, Michael Gambon, Pauline Collins, Tom Courtenay and Sheridan Smith and The Weinstein Company will release it on December 28th, 2012! QUARTET Image 02 Hoffman directed the movie from a script written by Sir Ronald Harwood, which centers on a retired opera singers: Reggie, Wilf and Cissy who reside in Beecham House and who each year stage a concert to celebrate Verdi's birthday, which also raises funds for the home. The real mess starts when Reggie's ex-wife Jean, played by Smith, arrives at the home and creates tension, playing the diva part but refusing to sing in the concert. Check out the poster below, and let us know what you think about this movie so far! QUARTET Poster
