I would prefer a better look at the upcoming Ridley Scott‘s movie but hey – we're not in position to whine about the whole thing, so let's cut the crap and see what we have in here!
As you see, quite bad photo quality, but I guess that's the best way to start speculations and rumors about some movie. Just give us something without any explanation and we'll guess until the movie actually comes out!
Anyway, at this moment we know that Scott's movie follows a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world. We all want to see what the hell they will discover out there but – mystery is (still) mystery and we have to deal with it.
But, thanks to Los Angeles Times and their chat with writer Damon Lindelof we have a little update straight from the writer who says:
“The movie is definitely epic in its scope. One of the filmmakers that we ended up talking about to a fair degree of redundancy was David Lean, who directed Lawrence of Arabia. We wanted to make the movie feel big by having the characters be small in big spaces. That connected to the larger themes we were talking about – that we're all just these little gnats crawling around on our little planet.”
And I suppose that should be enough for all of us?
