Runner, Runner Posters Today we have four new posters for the upcoming drama Runner Runner, set in the world of offshore online gambling. Ben Affleck plays a businessman who owns an offshore gambling operation finds his relationship with his protégé (Justin Timberlake) reaching a boiling point. Gemma Arterton, Anthony Mackie, Ben Schwartz, and Sam Palladio are among the list of co-stars. The film, directed by The Lincoln Lawyer director Brad Furman from a script by David Levien and Brian Koppelman, opens September 27th, 2013. Here's the synopsis for Runner, Runner:
Princeton grad student Richie, believing he's been swindled, travels to Costa Rica to confront online gambling tycoon Ivan Block. Richie is seduced by Block's promise of immense wealth, until he learns the disturbing truth about his benefactor. When the FBI tries to coerce Richie to help bring down Block, Richie faces his biggest gamble ever: attempting to outmaneuver the two forces closing in on him.
