I just wanted to remind you if you’d forgotten the upcoming 23rd James Bond adventure, Skyfall. Daniel Craig once again plays the cooler-than-cool the deadly but debonair Agent 007 and this time we have five new images involving Craig, along with stunning woman, a caged villain, and one major film director.
The two thrilled ladies are Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe as Eve and Severine; Eve is a fellow field agent, while Severine is a enigmatic French beauty who, if MI-6 agent formula holds true, will have some relationship with the bad guys.
Apropos of bad guys, we have a special treat here at Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, this installment’s villain, who is having a quality conversation with Judi Dench as supervisor at MI5, M while in a very uncomfortable cell with glass walls.
The last one still is a behind the scenes image of Craig and Sam Mendes, with Bond’s classic Aston Martin DB5, similar to the one seen in Goldfinger, in the background. Mendes is a newcomer to the franchise and action films, whose previous credits include the Academy Award-Winning American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Revolutionary Road and indie comedy-drama Away We Go.
Mendes is not known for action movies, but based on the trailers, seems to be handling it just fine.
Skyfall, which subsequent drafts were done by Gladiator writer by John Logan, arrives this November 9th.
