‘Boardwalk Empire‘ is returning to HBO for its fourth season, as Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) finds himself at odds with Dr. Valentin Narcisse (Jeffrey Wright), the man who controls Harlem.
The full trailer has dropped on TV tonight and opens with what seems to be an inquiry Richard Harrow’s gangland shootout from last season, in which 15 men were killed.
Next scenes offer the first look at newcomers Jeffrey Wright as Harlem kingpin Valentin Narcisse and Ron Livingston as a wealthy businessman Roy Phillips.
Other new characters in the show includes Gretchen Mol as Gillian Darmody, Patricia Arquette as a Tampa speakeasy owner and Al Capone’s elder brother Ralph, portrayed by Domenick Lombardozzi.
Also confirmed to return the fourth season of the period drama series will be Kelly Macdonald as Margaret Thompson, Michael Shannon as Nelson Van Aldren, Michael Kenneth Williams as Chalky White and Stephen Graham as Al Capone .
‘Boardwalk Empire‘ kicks off on Sunday, September 8th at 9 p.m.
