OBLIVION Set Photos Feature Tom Cruise in Costume
Don’t worry, Tom Cruise is ok! He’s even smiling in the first set photos from the upcoming Oblivion movie, where he stars as the lead.
Joseph Kosinski‘s new sci-fi movie also stars Olga Kurylenko, Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo, but this time it’s all about Cruise and his new futuristic look. Go ahead and check him out.
So, Cruise sure looks cool playing Jack Harper, one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth. Living and patrolling the breathtaking skies from thousands of feet above (in his interesting military jacket), his soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spacecraft.
As usual when some hot woman is involved in the story, her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands. Women…
At the end of this report, let us just remind you that Oblivion is actually based on Kosinski’s own Radical Publishing comic book series, and that the movie is currently scheduled to hit theaters on April 26th, 2013.
