Gravitas Ventures has unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming action film ‘Paradox Effect,' directed by Scott Weintrob. Despite its title suggesting a sci-fi twist, ‘Paradox Effect' is a gritty action thriller centered around criminals, cops, and drug dealers. Set to hit VOD on September 24, 2024, the film promises an adrenaline-fueled ride with a stellar cast.
The story follows Karina (Olga Kurylenko), an ex-junkie who witnesses a murder and is forced to cooperate with the killer to save her daughter's life. Karina must navigate through time, the police, and the criminal underworld to protect the only person who matters to her. The mastermind behind this deadly game is crime lord Silvio (Harvey Keitel), who manipulates Karina and Covek, a deadly killer, into a race against time.
Joining Keitel and Kurylenko are Oliver Trevena, Alice Astons, Meredith Mickelson, Talia Asseraf, Andrea Garofalo, Romano Reggiani, and Malich Cissé. The film is directed by indie filmmaker Scott Weintrob, known for his previous work ‘Built to Fail' and numerous short films and music videos.
