Watch: First ‘Just You’ Clip From PARKLAND, Starring Zac Efron

PARKLAND Hey guys, check out the very first (and pretty intense) clip from the upcoming Parkland movie! Directed by Peter Landesman, the movie stars Zac Efron as Dr. Jim Carrico, the only doctor on duty the time President John F. Kennedy was brought into the hospital, following his assassination in 1963. Head inside to see some hospital-action
It’s something that feels very mature and really interesting. It’s a whole different kind of filmmaking and I feel blessed to have been a part of it.

We already shared the official trailer and some images from the whole thing, so I’m sure you remember that Landesman directed the pic from his own script which follows the chaotic events that occurred in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963, Or, if you prefer the official synopsis:
Parkland weaves together the perspectives of a handful of ordinary individuals suddenly thrust into extraordinary circumstances: the young doctors and nurses at Parkland Hospital; Dallas’ chief of the Secret Service; an unwitting cameraman who captured what became the most watched and examined film in history; the FBI agents who nearly had the gunman within their grasp; the brother of Lee Harvey Oswald, left to deal with his shattered family; and JFK’s security team, witnesses to both the president’s death and Vice President Lyndon Johnson’s rise to power over a nation whose innocence was forever altered.
Also starring Marcia Gay Harden, Billy Bob Thornton, Jacki Weaver, Paul Giamatti, James Badge Dale, Jackie Earle Haley, Colin Hanks, David Harbour, Ron Livingston, Jeremy Strong, and Tom Welling, Parkland is set to hit (limited) theaters on October 4th, 2013.
