Penelope Cruz to Join Michael Fassbender in THE COUNSELOR
Well, things with Ridley Scott‘s next movie The Counselor are getting quite serious.
Ok, we’re still spreading rumors about the possible cast, but – what a cast list that it guys!
You already know that Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are all involved in the whole thing, but they should now make a room for another Oscar winner – Penelope Cruz!
According to the latest reports, Penelope Cruz is the front-runner to play Fassbender’s love interest.
And as you already know, Fassbender is officially on board to play a respected lawyer who thinks he can dip his toe in the drug business without getting sucked down.
The story will follow him teaming up with a rich acquaintance, played by Bardem, and a shady type, played by Pitt.
As for Jolie, we still have that enigmatic love interest character description next to her name, although it’s still unclear how she would balance this project with Disney’s Maleficent, which she’s supposed to begin shooting this June in England.
