Where am I – asks Ryan Reynolds in a brand new international trailer for R.I.P.D. Well, you’re in Rest In Peace Department man, isn’t it obvious? Supernatural film or horror comedy? As you already know, Schwentke’s latest film centers on the Rest In Peace Department where a police officer killed in the line of duty comes back from the dead to track down his killer.
In other words – Reynolds plays former rising-star detective Nick Walker, while Jeff Bridges stars as veteran sheriff Roy Pulsifer. They are dedicated to protect and serve the living from arrogant, malevolent, bloodthirsty, evil spirits who refuse to move into the afterlife.
Beside the above mentioned duo, R.I.P.D. also stars Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, Stephanie Szostak, Robert Knepper, James Hong and Marisa Miller, and the movie is set to hit theaters on July 19th, 2013.
