2015 is looking exceptionally awesome as now we can add another title to the list which already includes Star Wars Episode VII, The Avengers 2,
Ant-Man, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and Justice League.
20th Century Fox has announced that the
Fantastic Four reboot will hit theaters on March 6th, 2015. The new franchise will be directed by Chronicle director
Josh Trank and
Michael Green along with up-and-coming writer
Jeremy Slater are penning the screenplay.

At this time, no additional information has been released.
The 2005 film Fantastic Four and 2007 sequel titled Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer are superhero films, both based upon the comic of the same name. Trank's adaptation will likely deviate from that and try to be part of Fox's Marvel Universe which will include 2013s
The Wolverine and 2014s
X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Twentieth Century Fox has
recently hired comic book writer
Mark Millar as a creative consultant who will collaborate in some capacity on their upcoming films. He has talked about linking all the movies:
Hiring Josh Trank for Fantastic Four…it could just not be more different than the first Fantastic Four movie from what I've seen so far. Even just as a fan, I'm very, very excited by the level of talent they have on the directors side of things.
Two previous films were directed by Tim Story and starred Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis.
Fox also announced that The Wolverine and X-Men: Days of Future Past, as well as
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and
Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters will all be 3D releases.
Stay tuned.
