Rooney Mara’s Eyebrows and Trent Reznor’s Score for THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO Mashup
I was just on the phone with my best friend, and she was like – hey, what the hell happened with Rooney Mara‘s eyebrows? I said – WTF are you talking about, you disgusting bitch, do I really have to consider someone's eyebrows while I'm eating my breakfast?
But she kept screaming – well, there's nothing up there left to disgust you, 'cause she has NO eyebrows! Ok, kill me softly, give me the damn photo!
Holly shit! Rooney Mara definitely looks creepy! Yeah, I'm talking about David Fincher's upcoming adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and ok, I'm excited about the whole thing as well, but, really, what about that eyebrows-part? You know, an area of thick, delicate hairs above the eye that follows the shape of the lower margin of the brow ridges… and so on. That should be on Lisbeth Salander's face, guys!
Here's the thing. Sony Pictures has released 18 character images and biographies for all of us, and I must say that The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo portfolio definitely looks interesting, and there's no doubt we're talking about some seriously good horror here, so please take a look.
And while we're still at the biography-part, check out Mara's:
“Only her eyes, all but lost in heavy black make-up, hint at the hurt and vulnerability inside. No matter – no one ever gets close enough to notice…(that her eyebrows are missing?).” So, in case you see Mara's eyebrows somewhere, please contact FilmoFilia.
The second part of this report is far more optimistic. As you already know, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross did some great job with The Social Network, and I guess they're close enough to repeat that success with The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo as well.
Today we have the soundtrack for Fincher's movie, which was released along with above mentioned character profiles on DragonTattoo.com
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo hits theaters later this year on December 21st, and in the meanwhile, enjoy the soundtrack and keep your eyebrows safe!

I think you can calm down about the eyebrows – They’re there, they’re just really bleached. I don’t like it either.
They’re bleached. I think it’s meant to suggest she’s a natural blonde. In the novel, her character is described as a natural redhead.
