Let's see what's new with that Neil Jordan‘s upcoming Byzantium movie, shall we? Well, as you're about to see from these new three images – things are bloody as usual out there. A little bit of Gemma Arterton this time, but much better look at Saoirse Ronan and Sam Riley, who also star in the movie. Make sure you check it out!
So, as you already know, Byzantium centers on two mysterious women (a mother and daughter vampire) who seek refuge in a run-down coastal resort. Arterton, who plays Clara Webb, meets lonely Noel, and he soon provides shelter in his deserted guesthouse, Byzantium.
And everything sounds just great, but only until Ronan, who plays schoolgirl named Eleanor shares their dark secret with her new friend Frank (played by Caleb Landry Jones).
And as I said at the beginning, their lethal secret goes like this: they were born 200 years ago and survive on human blood. So, don't worry, that bloody image up there is just Ronan having breakfast, or something.
Jonny Lee Miller, Tom Hollander, Jeff Mash and Warren Brown also co-star in Byzantium, which is, unfortunately, still without an official release date.
