The second full trailer and seven high resolution photos from Sherlock Holmes 2: A Game of Shadows have been released.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows is an adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novel. Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick Dr. Watson join forces to outwit and bring down their fiercest adversary, Professor Moriarty. Robert Downey Jr. is paying Sherlock Holmes, while Jude Law and Jared Harris (late of television's Mad Men) appear as Dr. John Watson and Dr. Moriarty, Holmes' nemesis respectively. Rachel McAdams is gone, replaced as love interest by Swedish actress Noomi Rapace.
Sherlock Holmes 2 centers on the fabled quirky-mannered detective as he continues his pursuit of Professor Moriarty, whom he suspects to be the world's number one supervillain. In his attempt to solve the case, he is supported by his long trusted partner Dr. Watson, and gets help from his older brother Mycroft Holmes and a gypsy woman named Sim.Kieran Mulroney and Michele Mulroney have written the screenplay for the sequel, which has been directed by British filmmaker Guy Ritchie.
