Shia LaBeouf Injury Slows “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”
Director Michael Bay revealed that Shia LaBeouf‘s broken fingers that resulted from his car accident will be worked into the “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” script.
Bay also revealed LaBeouf has “matured” dramatically since he starred in 2007 movie “Transformers“. He added: “The kid really has his head together and you know, he's only 22. He's doing a great job on this movie. He has really matured since the last one and I love working with him.”
Bay also added that LaBeouf was not drunk when his collision caused the flipping of his truck. “You're gonna see – that's gonna go away,” he said. “He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before.”
However, witnesses claim that LaBeouf and “Transformers 2” co-star Isabel Lucas were drinking at a concert at the Los Angeles Troubadour music venue. “He was dancing around and acting really crazy,” the source claimed. “He kept doing shots of whiskey.”
LaBeouf's sick-bay journey began last Sunday when, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the pickup truck he was driving collided with a motorist running a red light.
Shortly before 2:30am, another driver ran a red light, according to authorities who confirmed LaBeouf is now not being investigated for causing the crash.
“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”, the sequel to 2007's Transformers, has been set for a June 2009 release.
