Cooper stars a former teacher who moves back in with his parents after a brief stay in a mental institution. Things get complicated when he meets a young woman (Jennifer Lawrence) while he attempts to reconcile with his ex-wife.
Russell writes and directs the film based on Matthew Quick’s novel of the same name.
Robert De Niro, Jacki Weaver, Julia Stiles and Chris Tucker round out the supporting cast of Silver Linings Playbook, which hits theaters November 21st, 2012.
