The last time we talked about Insidious: Chapter 2, we shared one pretty spooky trailer, and today – we’re back to add another great video (read: a brand new clip) from this terrifying sequel which is set to hit theaters next month. As you’re about to see, the haunted Lambert family is (still) not safe, and by the way – something is terribly wrong with daddy Josh…
Written by Leigh Whannell and directed by James Wan, the sequel to the acclaimed 2011’s horror film Insidious follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.
They are happily reunited after Josh went into the Further to get his son Dalton back.
But, not so fast guys! Better read the rest of the plot:
The paranormal events continue to occur, which become more and more terrifying. When the family begins to notice strange behaviour from the father, they start to wonder; Is it really Josh that came back from the Further?
Beside Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne (who reprise their roles as Josh and Renai Lambert), the rest of Insidious: Chapter 2 cast includes Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins, Barbara Hershey, Danielle Bisutti, Michael James Grise and Lindsay Seim.
