If you're a fan of the V/H/S series, you know the thrill of discovering what lies within the eerie tapes featured in each installment. This October, the highly anticipated seventh entry, V/H/S/Beyond, will premiere on Shudder, promising to plunge viewers into a terrifying sci-fi hellscape. This time around, the series ventures beyond the usual horror territory, diving headfirst into the realm of science fiction with a theme that teases alien creatures and otherworldly horrors.

The teaser trailer has just dropped, offering a glimpse of the horrors awaiting fans in this latest collection. The anthology consists of six new shorts, each more disturbing than the last. Expect to see segments from renowned filmmakers like Kate Siegel and Mike Flanagan, both of whom are celebrated for their work in horror. Justin Long also makes a return, this time stepping behind the camera to co-direct Fur Babies with Christian Long. The teaser promises to push the boundaries of fear, with spine-chilling scenes of alien encounters and sci-fi nightmares.

Produced by Josh Goldbloom, James Harris, and Michael Schreiber, V/H/S/Beyond follows in the footsteps of previous installments like V/H/S/85 and V/H/S/99, each of which brought a unique flavor to the anthology series. However, this time the series takes a bold step into the unknown with a sci-fi twist that's sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

V/H/S/Beyond is set to premiere at Fantastic Fest 2024 before making its way to Shudder on October 4th, just in time for Halloween season. This anthology is not for the faint of heart, but for those who crave the thrill of horror mixed with the mysteries of the unknown, it's a must-watch. Will you dare to dive into this new nightmare?

As the teaser suggests, this is more than just another entry in the series; it's an evolution of the V/H/S brand, promising more than just scares—it's a deep dive into fear itself. So, grab your popcorn, turn off the lights, and prepare to be terrified. V/H/S/Beyond is coming, and it's out of this world.
