Terrence Howard Lands Villain Role in DEAD MAN DOWN
The Academy Award nominated Terrence Howard has joined Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace and recently cast Dominic Cooper in Dead Man Down.
An action-thriller scribed by J.H. Wyman (The Mexican) follows Victor (Farrell), who sabotages the business and picks off the men belonging to a charming, but brutal crime lord Alphonse Hoyt (Howard) in New York City as vengeance for the death of a family member.
Along the way, Victor is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice (Rapace), a crime victim seeking revenge. Their intense chemistry leads them spiraling into payback delivered in violent catharsis. Cooper will play Farrell's partner on the street.
Niels Arden Oplev, director behind the Swedish Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, is set to start production later this month in Philadelphia.
Howard, who most recently starred in Red Tails will next be seen in Robert Redford's The Company You Keep and the Jack Kerouac adaptation On the Road as well as the indie thriller House of Bodies, with Queen Latifah and Peter Fonda.
Check out two trailers for two very different films, Red Tails and On the Road, with Howard performing two very different guys.
