Southern-fried thriller a.k.a ‘Southern-fried whip-ass extravaganza' features three grimy redneck killers a.k.a. ‘three infamously ruthless Alabama brothers' who find themselves on the wrong side of a smash-and-grab job.
Wow! This sounds like The Baytown Disco was written and shot in the late '90s.
Well, these Tremor brothers along with evil Billy Bob Thornton, whose trailer reveals large amounts of gun-battling and yee-hawing, altogether looks freaking awesome, like a Guy Ritchie action flick.
Directed by Barry Battles from his Black List '09 script with Griffin Hood brings real Southern flare to the story. That said, a trio of Oddie brothers (Clayne Crawford, Travis Fimmel, Daniel Cudmore) are hired by Celeste (Eva Longoria) to rescue her godson from her nefarious ex-husband Carlos (Thornton).
The Baytown Disco also stars Andre Braugher, Meagan Good, Michael Rapaport, Paul Wesley, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Zoe Bell, and Agnes Brucker.
