The Final THE MASTER Teaser Trailer Featuring Extended and Deleted Footage
There is not much left to see as The Master is already in theaters and Paul Thomas Anderson's latest film took an abnormal path in its marketing, but he decided to drop us one last trailer entitled ‘Last One / Thank You.'
This nearly 5-minute long final trailer features a great deal of unseen footage and extended scenes not in the finished film, for a change.
If you could somehow forgot, this riveting story is set in America in the years following World War II where charismatic intellectual (Philip Seymour Hoffman) launches a faith-based organization and taps a young drifter (Joaquin Phoenix) as his right-hand man, but as the faith begins to gain a fervent following, the onetime vagabond finds himself questioning the belief system he has embraced, and his mentor.
Speaking poetically, this is one of those films that washes over you like holy water, leaving you drenched with impressions and the sensation of being wet – finally, the movie opens on a ship.
The film also stars Jesse Plemons, David Warshofsky, Amy Adams and Rami Malek.
