MTV have premiered the first decent trailer for director Neil Burger‘s Divergent on Sunday as well as a graphic representation of its 5 virtue-based factions below.
The trailer is jam-packed with some quick glimpses at key scenes fans will be looking for.
A little Hunger Games-esque adaptation of Veronica Roth's YA novel about a future Chicago that breaks people into various factions based on their personalities, stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Miles Teller, Zoe Kravitz and Kate Winslet.
The first in a planned franchise, Divergent hits theaters March 21st, 2014.
Check out the official first look at Tris Prior (Woodley) as she learns that she is a divergent and begins her intitiation into Dauntless. James plays her instructor/love interest Four. The trailer delivers a significant amount of bone-crunching action, too.
