Just a quick The Great Gatsby update guys! We have three brand new posters for Baz Luhrmann‘s upcoming movie, and we definitely recommend you to check them out. Why? Well, because this time it's not all about Gatsby and Nick Carraway – we finally have a better look at Joel Edgerton‘s character, Tom Buchanan!
Luhrmann directed an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald‘s novel from the script he co-wrote with Craig Pearce, and as we previously reported the movie revolves around a millionaire named Jay Gatsby and his neighbor Nick, who recounts his encounter with Gatsby at the height of the Roaring Twenties.
An awesome cast is on board for The Great Gatsby and includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher, Jason Clarke and Amitabh Bachchan.
Chasing his own American Dream, Nick lands next door to a mysterious, party-giving millionaire, Jay Gatsby, and across the bay from his cousin, Daisy, and her philandering, blue-blooded husband, Tom Buchanan. It is thus that Nick is drawn into the captivating world of the super rich, their illusions, loves and deceits. As Nick bears witness, within and without the world he inhabits, he pens a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy, and holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles.
The Great Gatsby opens on May 10th, 2013.
