Oaklee Pendergast, and as we reported earlier – Summit will release the movie on December 21st, 2012.
Watts stars as Maria who, together with her husband Henry (McGregor) and their three sons begins their winter vacation in Thailand. True tropical paradise, indeed. But on the morning of December 26th, as our dear family relaxes around the pool – a terrifying roar rises up from the center of the earth.
We all guess the rest of the story, right?
So, it’s safe to say that
The Impossible is Bayona’s powerful account of a family caught, with tens of thousands of strangers, in the mayhem of one of the worst natural catastrophes of our time.
Compassion?
Courage? Maria and her family will encounter all that during the darkest hours of their lives.
