The official trailer for House of Spoils has just dropped, offering a tantalizing glimpse of what's to come. DeBose plays an ambitious chef who opens her first farm-to-table restaurant on a remote estate. But as any good horror story goes, not everything is what it seems. Alongside battling the everyday challenges of running a kitchen—like kitchen chaos and a dubious investor—the chef faces off against the vengeful spirit of the estate's previous owner, who is determined to sabotage her success.

The tension builds as the film shifts from fascinating to horrifying in a matter of scenes. Director duo Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy, known for their cult hit Blow the Man Down, helm the project. This is their second feature film, and judging by their history, fans of gritty thrillers should expect something special. Described as a “tense, psychological, and sensuous thriller,” House of Spoils promises to keep viewers on edge while delivering a unique mix of thrills and chills.

The cast boasts a stellar lineup with Euphoria's Barbie Ferreira, Succession's Arian Moayed, and Marton Csokas (The Equalizer) joining DeBose in this culinary horror ride. Produced by Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions, the film is set to premiere at the 2024 Fantastic Fest, one of the year's most exciting genre film festivals.

Fans won't have to wait long to watch it themselves—House of Spoils will be streaming on Prime Video starting October 3rd, 2024. If you're looking for a spine-tingling story that mixes kitchen nightmares with ghostly sabotage, this is a must-watch for your fall horror lineup. Get ready to feast on fear!
