Tom Cruise Talks About MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5!

TOM CRUISE MISSION IMPOSSIBLE Ethan Hunt retiring? Not so fast, says Tom Cruise! Ok, this is not some huge surprise, we all know that Cruise just loves everything that has to do with his Mission: Impossible franchise, but is there something new about the whole thing? At this moment only one thing is for sure: there are plans to make Mission: Impossible 5! Anything else? Check out in the rest of this report… First of all, for all Hunt’s fans out there – Cruise says that (after reprising the role four times) he has no intention of retiring the character. Quite simple explanation: as long as people still enjoy the films he’ll keep making them. That actually makes sense, on one hand we have Cruise who says that Hunt is a character that he can grow with, and on the other hand – the first Mission: Impossible movie was the most expensive film in the history of Paramount Pictures. So, why would anyone say NO to a project like this in the future? In an interview with Total Film magazine, Cruise revealed that there’s no reason to stop the whole thing now especially because:
It’s been pretty exciting. Seeing an audience respond, to have that experience is really wonderful. I’ll make a bunch of those. I’ll make as many as people want to see, because they’re very challenging, and so much fun to make.
And ok, we understand that it’s maybe too early to talk about Mission: Impossible 5 at this moment, but hey, the 50-year-old actor also added that work has already started to try and find locations for Hunt’s return:
We’re already working on different images. I love travelling around promoting movies because I’m always looking at different places, coming up with different sequences.
So, what do you think about the fifth movie? Just in case you have any doubts about it, I will remind you that the last Mission: Impossible movie took in $209,3 million domestically and $693 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film in the franchise. Looks like there’s still a lot of potential in Hunt’s story, or what? MISSION IMPOSSIBLE GHOST PROTOCOL Poster
