Tom Selleck has confirmed a third installment of
Three Men And A Baby is on its way.
Selleck confirmed that Disney had checked up on him, Guttenberg and Ted Danson “to gauge their interest” in a third movie together.
So, after the original hit Three Men and a Baby and
Three Men and a Little Lady sequel, we'll finally have a chance to see project with title
Three Men and a Bride.
So, we all know that the original film is a 1987 comedy, directed by
Leonard Nimoy and starring Tom Selleck,
Steve Guttenberg and
Ted Danson.
It follows the mishaps and adventures of three bachelors as they attempt to adapt their lives to pseudo-fatherhood with the arrival of one of the men's love child.
Tom Selleck – who played Peter Mitchell in both the original film and its 1990 sequel, said: “It is true that Disney checked my availability.
And I know they checked Ted's and Steve's and then had a script written, I think tentatively called ‘3 Men and a Bride' which kind of says it all about the story.”
He also added that he “hopes it's a good script, and if it is a good script I hope they do it, because it would be really fun to get back with Ted and Steve. The strongest of the two movies I think is the first one. It had more heart, and that's what I hope this third one would have if we do it.”
We'll definitely keep an eye on this sequel, and for all Selleck's fan out there, little reminder – he can be seen in
Robert Luketic-directed comedy
Killers alongside
Ashton Kutcher and
Katherine Heigl. Stay tuned!
Awesome!! I really hope they do it. Three Men and a Baby is one of my all time favourite movies and I agree whole-heartedly with Tom when he says the first had more heart. Bring on the gang again!
