My fellow Americans … my soldiers will destroy your country.
Disney and Marvel Studios have released another TV ad for the Shane Black-directed action adventure Iron Man 3.
If you choose to watch the video, then you’re going to know what nationality The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) would be. Therefore, if you don’t want to know this spoiler, then stop reading now.
It’s been long known that the Mandarin wouldn’t be Chinese and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has always described The Mandarin’s nationality as somewhat of a mystery.
However, by addressing his ‘fellow Americans,’ at the beginning of the footage it sounds that The Mandarin is claiming to be a homegrown American terrorist!
Hitting theaters in just a few short weeks on May 3rd, 2013, Iron Man 3 also stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau and Wang Xueqi.
Check out the 30-second spot below which also seems to reveal the Chinese actor Xueqi’s character Dr. Wu aka the Radioactive Man.
