Ultraman: Rising is an upcoming anime series on Netflix, set in a futuristic world where Tokyo is threatened by rising monster attacks. The story revolves around an all-star athlete who reluctantly returns home to take on the mantle of Ultraman, only to discover that his greatest challenge isn't fighting giant monsters but raising one. Sato must rise above his ego to balance work and parenthood while protecting the baby from forces bent on exploiting her for their own dark plans.
The series is directed by Shannon Tindle, co-directed by John Aoshima, and written by Shannon Tindle and Marc Haimes. The cast includes Christopher Sean, Gedde Watanabe, Tamlyn Tomita, Keone Young, and Julia Harriman.
