Vince Vaughn’s STARBUCK Adds Britt Robertson

Nick Martin September 12, 2012 Add a Comment
Britt Robertson - Secret Circle Headliner of the CW's supernatural drama series The Secret Circle, Britt Robertson will take her own familial part in the American remake of the 2011 French-Canadian film Starbuck. She joins Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders and Chris Pratt in the role of a troubled teen who is one of Vaughn character's many offspring. As you may remember the story centers on an adult slacker David Wozniak (Vaughn) who comes to realize that he has fathered 533 children through his sperm donations over the years. When several of his kids petition the sperm bank to reveal his identity, he has to decide on whether or not to reveal himself. Parks and Recreation's Pratt also stars as the man's attorney, and Cobie Smulders will play his pregnant girlfriend. Original Starbuck director Ken Scott will also write and direct the English-language remake with shooting scheduled to start before the year's end. Robertson will next be seen in Sony Pictures' upcoming teen rom-com The First Time, and then in 2013 in the twisted bullying drama White Rabbit.
