The anticipation surrounding the third installment of Rian Johnson's Knives Out series, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, has finally reached a fever pitch enthralled. The first movie Knives Out is indeed as complex as the family portrayed in the movie, but it is as witty as well, all in the name of whodunit genre. The first part, Knives Out, was a major hit that grossed $312 million in box office collections worldwide, while the second part, Glass Onion, was able to collect a decent amount of $13 million before shifting to the streaming platform.
NetFlix is confidently backing the series after investing $450 million on two sequels, which is quite an endorsement of Johnson's vision. As production begins for Wake Up Dead Man, viewers can look forward to the next thrilling crazy mystery series that is to follow.
