Wake Up Dead Man: The Mysterious Third Installment of Knives Out Unveils Its Cast and 2025 Release Date

Exciting news for mystery fans: Josh O'Connor and Cailee Spaeny are reportedly joining the cast of the much-anticipated "Knives Out 3," officially titled "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery." Dive into what this means for the latest installment of Rian Johnson's beloved whodunnit series.

The anticipation surrounding the third installment of Rian Johnson's Knives Out series, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, has finally reached a fever pitch enthralled. Netflix has revealed the title of the movie and informed that the new blockbuster will be coming out in the year 2025. This is Dan Craig back in the shoes of the motivated and quirkily brilliant detective Benoit Blanc that has always enthralled the fans with his intelligence coupled with humor.

Recently joined to the crew are Josh O'Connor, who became popular due to the films Challengers and the series The Crown, as well as Cailee Spaeny, who starred in Priscilla and Civil War. Even though names of the characters to be portrayed by the two actors have not yet been disclosed, their participation in the movie is a confirmation of the fact that the series has a batting capability of attracting talents.

The first movie Knives Out is indeed as complex as the family portrayed in the movie, but it is as witty as well, all in the name of whodunit genre. The first part, Knives Out, was a major hit that grossed $312 million in box office collections worldwide, while the second part, Glass Onion, was able to collect a decent amount of $13 million before shifting to the streaming platform.

NetFlix is confidently backing the series after investing $450 million on two sequels, which is quite an endorsement of Johnson's vision. As production begins for Wake Up Dead Man, viewers can look forward to the next thrilling crazy mystery series that is to follow.
