A few months ago we shared the first trailer for the upcoming Jackie Robinson biopic 42, which comes from director Brian Helgeland, and stars Harrison Ford and Chadwick Boseman in the leading roles. Written and directed by Brian Helgeland, the movie will tell us the life story of baseball player Jackie Robinson and his history-making signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers under the guidance of team executive Branch Rickey.

The movie stars Harrison Ford as the innovative Dodger’s general manager Branch Rickey, the MLB executive who first signed baseball great Jackie Robinson to the minors and then helped to bring him up to the show, and Chadwick Boseman as Robinson, the heroic African American who was the first man to break the color line in the big leagues.Beside Harrison Ford and Chadwick Boseman, 42 cast also includes Nicole Beharie, Christopher Meloni, T.R. Knight, Brad Beyer and Toby Huss, & the movie is set to open on April 12th, 2013.
