Talking horse is back! This time, thanks to the guys from Waterman Entertainment, who have some serious plans with the reboot of the classic 1960s TV series comedy
Mr. Ed. It looks that now all we need is one man and one horse, and live-action/CGI will do the rest of the job.
Now, you might be asking yourself – do I really want to now more about the whole thing? I’m not so enthusiastic about the whole thing either, but it looks the property fits seamlessly into the Waterman Entertainment business model, which is to identify existing and successful family brands that can be developed into live action/CGI feature film properties.
Anyway, get prepared for a real horse with a CG-animated mouth, because, hey, this horse likes to chat!
Mr. Ed will join Waterman’s growing family-friendly brands that have franchise potential and ancillary viability on platforms including television, digital, literary, and merchandising.
Cooper Waterman said that each property will remain independent of each other, but that they will share
the commonality of addressing social values, morality lessons, and characteristics that are clearly identifiable for kids with comedic elements for all age groups.
Yippie Yeah?
