20th Century Fox have acquired the adaptation rights to Adena Halpern’s comedy novel, 29: A Novel.
Guys from Fox expect this one to be “an event movie for women” (whatever!), and at this moment we know that the whole thing will be produced by John Davis.
Yes, unfortunately that does mean no director or writer is attached yet, but at least you can enjoy the synopsis part:

Ellie Jerome is a young-at-heart seventy-five-year-old who feels she has more in common with her twenty-nine-year-old granddaughter, Lucy, than her fifty-five-year-old daughter, Barbara. Adena Haplern’s novel was released on 15 June, and we must admit that this definitely sounds very interesting.
With some good cast, who knows, maybe this could really turn out to be “an event movie for women”.
