66th Annual Golden Globes (2009) Winners!
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association presented the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles.
“Slumdog Millionaire” took four awards – Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Original Score. “The Wrestler” was the second most lauded film, with two awards (Best Actor – Drama for Mickey Rourke and Best Song), and Kate Winslet was the most lauded person, winning Best Actress – Drama for “Revolutionary Road” and Best Supporting Actress for “The Reader.”

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association Board of Directors has chosen the official poster of The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
The poster will be distributed to the 1300 guests attending The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday evening, January 11 at The Beverly Hilton.
Los Angeles artist Colin McGreal completed the poster in association with Famous Frames. The vibrant artwork features the world’s most famous golden orb flanked by parallel rows of palm trees that give a sense of the iconic Los Angeles setting for the event recognized worldwide as “The Party of the Year.”

On Sunday, December 14, American Film Institute (AFI) have announced their selections for the top ten of most outstanding motion pictures in 2008. “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is one of them. “Benjamin Button” also is in top at the Golden Globes with five nominations. DiCaprio’s Revolutionary Road Photos
Adapted from Richard Yates‘ (1926-1992) first novel, “Revolutionary Road” is an incisive portrait of an American marriage seen through the eyes of Frank (three-time Academy Award nominee Leonardo DiCaprio) and April (five-time Academy Award nominee Kate Winslet) Wheeler. Yates’ story of 1950’s America poses a question that has been reverberating through modern relationships ever since: can two people break away from the ordinary without breaking apart?
