If you like Seth Rogen and you’ve heard of Barbara Streisand, but you hadn’t heard of The Guilt Trip – a film that sees Streisand and Rogen playing mother and son on a cross-country road trip, well, the first poster for director Anne Fletcher’s road trip comedy The Guilt Trip has just been released.
The first trailer for the new romcom from The Proposal director, Fletcher and Crazy Stupid Love writer, Dan Fogelman will debut sometime tomorrow.
The film has Rogen trying to hook his recently-widowed mom up with one of her former flames, and the first poster features Rogen getting the motherly treatment from Streisand that every son should be used to by now. It sounds just gross enough to be funny.
Adam Scott, Danny Pudi, Colin Hanks and Yvonne Strahovski also star in Trip arriving on Christmas Day Tuesday December 19th, 2012, and if that’s not counter-programming for Django Unchained then I don’t know what is.
